Could not have had a better experience. Everyone was so pleasant. We had one main server but at least 3 different ones would check on us at any given time. The food was phenomenal. There were five of us and not a single complaint on food, drinks or service. I have bragged about out experience many times since our visit and cannot wait to return!

OKC, you lucky SOBs. What a treat to discover such an extraordinary restaurant and museum. The food was crafted with care and bursting with flavor. I ordered the corn ribs as an appetizer. The presentation was amusing and the taste delicious. They are not to be missed. The BBQ Bison brisket was succulent and flavorful. The bun was perfectly toasted and buttery. For desert, the Southern Crisp Blackberry cobbler. Served hot and crispy. Everything was divine. Check this place out before it’s not a secret anymore.

I’m so sad that 39 Restaurant at the First Americans Museum is permanently closing 4/28! We had an incredible brunch, the food and people were absolutely amazing! Our server and the Chef came out to tell me how to use dried hibiscus in drinks/food when I asked where to get hibiscus flavoring! If you haven’t gone, go quick before they close! First time dining for 27th anniversary and, as foodies, we were excited to try it. Our service and food were phenomenal! I can’t wait to come back and try the brunch. Only thing I could ask for would be more authentic music! There are too many amazing indigenous musicians out there to listen to smooth music like Celine Dion & Michael McDonnell, just feels like a missed opportunity.

Went here spur of the moment, and was pleasantly surprised. A really nice setting, great menu with unique options, and a nice wine and spirits selection. I got the bison steak and loved it!

So glad that Thirty Nine Restaurant has reopened and added dinner service! Chef Loretta Barrett Oden (Citizen Potawatomi) literately wrote the book on Indigenous cuisine. Each cocktail and dish was visually stunning. My favorite is the rabbit tamal. Delicious but also healthy with microgreens and edible flowers from the on-site garden. With happy hour and dinner service, you can enjoy the epic sunset views. An elegant, unique dining experience here in OKC!

I sat at the bar and had a great experience with Jacob, the bartender. The menu is shorter than some other restaurants, but In this case, a limited menu is a sign that the restaurant REALLY knows what it’s about and wants to do it well. I got the venison and loved every bite. For those who have less of a sweet tooth but still want desert, the sweet potato tart is an elegant choice.

This is a great restaurant located in the First American's Museum. Make time for lunch there when you visit the museum. I had the hominy stew with bison. It's a huge portion, perfectly spiced. My husband had a duck dish with delicious, smokey black beans. And the ice cream - a trio of corn, sage and a fruit topped with a lovely leaf cookie. The views match the beauty of the food.

Josh was a great bartender! This restaurant is far too good to be this empty! The food was fantastic - I was looking to get indigenous inspired foods and I feel like they do a great job. I got the rabbit tamal, which all the servers suggested, and I was very happy with that choice. The drinks are well made, the food is delicious, and the service is attentive and knowledgeable. Josh really made my experience special here and I appreciated it. From a North Carolina Chickasaw - I'll be back to visit with a bigger group, I want to try everything!
